An Outline of Many Things...But There was No Garden and Prepping is an Application, not a Reminder List

The greatest flaw in this book was that there were no examples, illustrations, or practical application of the information presented. The information was presented almost as an outline, borrowing heavily from other authors. The flow of information was stilted by the use of uncommon adjectives and verbs. The information is useful and understandable only if you have previous gardening and Prepping experience and read the more complete information in one of the "trademarked" (copyrighted) publications used without permission (according to the disclaimer at the beginning of the book). If this was one of my students they would receive a generous C on the basis of research and a D for failing to achieve the level of development of ideas required to meet the lofty goal of creating a "handbook".

This book was very informative! It has everything a gardener starting up needs in terms of knoledge. The book was also very well written and was structured in a way which was easy to consume. Altogether I highly recommend this book, I learned some valuable tips and can't wait to put it into action now!

There is a nice starter amount of information here. Lots of essential topics discussed and while this book doesn't contain every detail on every subject, the outline is great. You can delve deeper once you have a general idea of what you need to know.
