I loved this!!

A very true glimpse of what went into creating TV commercials years ago! Full disclosure, I am a friend of Bob's, and a colleague of his many moons ago. I enjoyed reading this, and I think you will too. Like Bob. I was one of the so-called "Mad Men" of that time. While I was a fan of Mad Men, particularly in the earlier seasons, it resembled very little of my experiences working in the field. In my opinion, in this engaging, personal sharing of his experience as an Art Director during those years (I was one as well), he gives you a true understanding of some of the things that went on when we were involved in creating TV commercials. And he does it with humor and makes you want to hear more little stories about what it was really like "in the good old days" of making commercials. (I bought this with my own money, and it resides on my iPad, where I hope to read it again many times!)

Neidhardt's team of talented professionals created some of the most iconic ads of the 70s. The short-story antics reveal to the reader just how the top of the heap products got the attention of millions of TV viewers and magazine readers. Some of the creative processes were hilarious.
