About the Author
D.L.Williams was born in San Diego, California and raised in Borrego Springs. The small California desert community and large assorted family helped create his unique personality. Recently, after spending 24 years working for a New England based grocery wholesale company; he retired early and moved to Naples, Florida. Although he is starting late in life, he enjoys writing and hopes his words will make people laugh. His first novel is Pennies from Hell, published in 2013.

Mystery? Humor? Romance? This book has it all.

I am rarely surprised by the outcome of a mystery, but I have to admit, this author got me. The characters have a multi-faceted humanity that I appreciate...none of them are all good or all bad. There's a bit of romance, and a lot of humor thrown in, making this a great read. I was cheering for Sydney to find the killer before (He?She?They?) got to her, meanwhile laughing at the character's thoughts and comments. This is one of those books so expertly drawn that when you're done, you feel as though you've just seen the movie. Set aside some time for this story, you'll want to curl up and finish it without any distractions.

Funny --- hysterically funny!

Clever mystery with a load of humor thrown in. Loved the references to Naples, Florida and it's colorful inhabitants that could only be written by a local. The murders themselves were outrageous and by their very nature, hilarious. The characters were well defined, giving the "who dunnit" depth and mystery. Had a hard time putting it down.
Can't wait to read the next book by Mr. Williams.

THE LIST OF DEAD SMITH'S was very entertaining.

If you've ever had the tendency to be envious of the rich, this book may change your thinking.
As a resident of Naples, I enjoyed reading about the familiar places in the area. The unfamiliar situations and places kept me reading.
Bizarre is the perfect description of the Smith deaths.
D. L. Williams kept me entranced throughout the story.
I'm now waiting for his next publication. J. Osborn
