A very Fundamentalist Pagan book

I'm inclined to think that the author's "commandments" were generated in a rather narrow-minded "Fundamentalist" way. In reading the history of the Slavic people, written records didn't appear until Christianity appeared, so where these "commandments" came from were probably the author's own internal inspiration. Some of which is good and some ring totally counter to a kind, open-minded paganism viewpoint. (for example: "women, do not wear the clothes of men, for you will lose your feminism, but wear the clothes women should wear... and do not marry a woman who has black skin, but only white skin." Although there is good information on the various deities, there really wasn't anything that I hadn't found online already searching for "Rodnovery" (Native Faith.)

This was like holding gold for me

I've never seen such detailed information on so many of the deities of the Slavic tradition in English in one location. My mind is blown. This was like holding gold for me. I'm very connected to my roots and crave every drop of information I can find in English as I continue to learn a couple of Slavic languages. And this.. this is just incredible.

An Overview On Slavic Faith

This is the second book of the series about Slavic Deities and a great addition to this unique series. In this book author used the term 'Bogi' which means multiple deities. In order to understand Slavic Bogi, one has to look at them as one 'Rod'. Because slavic faith is not monotheism & it's not polytheism also. Though there are many Bogi in Slavic Faith but they all belong to one Rod. At the same time Rod is one but is made up of different Bogi. As there are many Slavic Bogi, the author has described only few Bogi in this book, who were most often mentioned in old Slavic faith.
This is a must read for any Slavic person who want to discover his root & a great reference to those who are interested in Slavic Faith.
