A Story We Can All Relate To!

Starts out strong and draws you in. You will feel the raw emotion attached to this interesting tale of this young woman's life. This young lady has looked for a way to have a voice in her world for a very long time, and, finally, she has found it. It's a cute, story that you just might relate to yourself (some of these family members just might sound familiar to you). I was amazed, as I read this book, to see someone so young with these type of morals and values. Keisha's grandmothers have left a beautiful legacy - though getting there may have been tricky at times. This is a really fun adventure, as Keisha opens up and shares her world with you. Everything from childhood, to early employment, to love, loss, rebellion and even motherhood - I hope she will never lose sight of, against long odds, she has become a beautiful, productive, educated and determined member of society. Wishing you nothing but the best! Good luck with your new book, Keisha!

There are many things I learned while reading this! I enjoyed learning about your life and wish I could have been there more! Reading this made me want to scream for you, laugh with you, and cry with you. You are an outstanding mother, don't ever let someone tell you differently!

I couldn't put it down

I loved it right from the very first paragraph. It's been a long time since I've been this moved by a book. It was exciting and always interesting. I've enjoyed this little trip through your early life and it was very well written too, and it definitely made me want to check out the rest of your work! Keisha, I can honestly say that I am proud to be featured in the same anthology as you and I wish you all the best for the future because you deserve it.
