Disturbing Yet Compelling

I read a pre-release version of this novel. It is a disturbing yet compelling continuation of the story that begins in "IKRP 1." In this volume, we get inside the head of Jonathan Spencer. Spencer's story is told in a stark manner -- nothing is glossed over, nothing is painted any less harshly than the reality faced by Spencer and the other characters.
As always, Bogin's command of the language, together with his extensive background knowledge, make for a fast paced and memorable story. You may not agree with the characters' choices. You may even consider one or more of the characters irredeemably broken. But however you feel about the story, I doubt you'll be bored by its telling.

excellent book

You must read If Kill Rich People, the first book in the series first. You either love or hate MSJS based on your personal conviction. This is a story about how .01% of the individuals in the world control almost all the wealth. At one time I was considered high- middle class. But with the depression that began in 2008, and because I became disabled, I lost everything. So I look at life a lot differently these days and have sympathy for Jonatan Spencer.

I Kill Rich People 2 was a very fun read. The author combines what seems to be "insider information" about the U.S. intelligence agencies, the armed forces, and today's incredible technology capabilities. The story was very compelling and, at times, disturbing, as one comes to realize there are powerful forces at work that we, as citizens, have little or no control over. I found his characters to be interesting and compelling. I am looking forward to IKRP 3!
