He now lives with his wife and their two youngest sons in Abu Dhabi, where he lives out his passions: music, dark-room photogaphy and, as always, traveling.

Few of us ever get the chance to wander the world as has Jos Meijer, much less to have the insight that such travel can bring and express it as he does here. Wondrous travel stories

Inside the beautiful cover of this book we find wondrous travel stories interspersed with philosophical observations that sometimes remind me of Rousseau's Reveries of the solitary walker - although in this case the walks take us a little bit further!
