Luckily I'm not a lazy reader

I've been told that I needed to "start investing" for many years now. I know that lazy investing is actually a term but I really have been lazy in getting started with this and was looking for something that was easy to understand and not advise me to hire some high-priced adviser.
This was a great book that had some really sound advice that I can get started with right away. I enjoyed the section on myths about the stock market as well as the specific examples of investments and portfolios. The Lazy Investor's Guide was organized well and very easy to follow.

The lazy way is the smart way

The lazy investors guide is the best kind of lazy, the GOOD kind of lazy. The advice and information imparted by Michael in this book was a real eye-opener for me. I'd fallen into the typical trap/idea of stock trading that most newbies get caught up in; fast-paced buying/selling, brokers and the like. After reading this book though, I've come to realize I've been doing it all wrong. This book taught me about smart investing, the self-building approach, and long term goals, among many other valuable things. Super happy I found this read. Five stars.

Same info on most simple finance blogs. No knew insight found. Mostly common sense. I would have liked to see more info.
