Fun and imaginative

No one can accuse D.L. Carter of not thinking outside the box. All of her books have broken some kind of mold and I've enjoyed reading them. That goes for this one as well. Who would have thought of writing a book about the people who clean up after super heroes?
It was a fun read and a good story. I could have wished for some more editing, though. On every other page there was a word that didn't fit in, a rewritten sentence that hadn't been fully changed or a conversation that didn't entirely make sense. This was mainly in the last half of the book.
But it was still a book I would recommend. I am looking forward to the next book by this author!

Ali's "Super" Adventure

Another great read by D.L. Carter! This was the 5th novel by Ms. Carter that I have read in just over 2 years. I have enjoyed all of them and would recommend that anyone not fans of "formula books" pick up any or all of D.L Carters. Her characters often have personality quirks which make them different or special and may remind the reader of people they know and love,and sometimes have to struggle to tolerate. I had difficultly finding a good stopping place in this book," It is a I'll read just one more page before I go and do whatever it is I reallly need to do kind of book." But you don't stop reading, you are hooked, You just have to know what happens next.
Ali Brent is an insurance adjuster. Ho-hum what fun. Wrong! Ali works for the Super Support Company ensuring that all required paperwork generated from the aftermath of the Good Supers interactions with the Villian Supers is completed per regulations. She is on call 24 /7 and except for her job Ali Brent doesn't actually seem to have a life. The only people she really knows to interact with even when she is not on duty are Supers. They are just the same as regular people anyway right? Wrong!
So how does a normal everyday site supervisior who spends most of her life buried under towers of paperwork get to have an adventure? Well, it's all due to her Superfriends. Ya have to read the book!

A different super hero story, full of action and intrigue and best of all funny!

If you want to know who cleans up the mess after super heroes and super villains fight, who deals with the media...this is the book for you. A fun but totally different super hero story. As all other D.L. Carter books...funny! Love the main characters and really hope there is a sequel. This could me make into a CW show!
